Does having more than one scanner help? Will that increase scanning range?

no, it will not stack up. You have to upgrade your previous one

yes, it is. But you can always build another hyperspace scanner in another system

Ok, makes sense.

Also, what is the camouflage intensity of the Undercover Base? In its description, it talks about military scanners. Is it referring to the Hyperspace scanner?

As far as I know Hyperspace scanners don't affect undercover bases

there's a lot of bug when it comes to that. The hyperspace scanner and the undercover base is supposedly to be a "Spy vs Anti Spy" kind of action.. So far none of that action happened.

1 build Hyperspace scanners lv10
2 build another Hyperspace scanners
3 see the result

also now I have Hyperspace scanners lv10 x 3
and scan range is 144

Undercover base have nothing to do with hyperspace scanner. It determines camouflage level of your hidden fleets. Frigates have a neutrino detector to detect those hidden fleets (tech required). Detection level of 1 frigate = 10. So if your undercover bases (yes they stack within 1 system) have camouflage 4000 you need 401 frigate to detect hidden fleets.
